Happy Independence Day!
The 4th has always been my favorite holiday since..well…my entire life. It seems to be the one holiday in our family that everyone is available to celebrate together in one place. While we lived in OK and my aunt and cousins lived in TX and Florida and the rest of my family and grandparents lived in PA, Independence day was the one and only holiday where we were ALL always able to make it to PA …its been tradition for many MANY years in our family to go to my grandparents house and celebrate. After grandpa had his stroke in 2004 things died down…the visits stopped…..contact was lost a bit with everyone…..but we managed to keep this tradition…now all the cousins, sisters and brothers are married and have families and children of their own and we are able to make Independence day special again possibly even more so than ever. Now we can see for ourselves the wonder and joy of learning the history of the holiday and celebrating it that we so often experienced as children.
Hoorah for the Birth of our beautiful Country.

And some all American music to celebrate with!
